Counselling Services


COUNSELLING is offered through the UBC Psychological Services and Counselling Training Centre in the Faculty of Education.

As part of the Counselling Psychology program, the PSCTC offers counselling sessions to adults, students, and children.

WHAT? The counselling sessions offer support with stress management (work, home, school stress), anxiety, depression, school or relationship issues. Referrals to other services are also available if we are not able to help, or should clients need extra support.

WHO ARE WE? The counsellors are Counselling Psychology Master’s and Doctoral students in training, with an instructor who is onsite supervising the counsellors.

WHO DO WE SEE? Individuals (adults and youth).

WHEN? Clinics run from September to April.

WHERE? The counselling clinic is located in the Psychological Services and Counselling Training Centre (PSCTC), Neville Scarfe Building: 1100-2125 Main Mall, Vancouver, BC, V6T 1Z4.

HOW? Counselling sessions are offered primarily in person, with some opportunities for online counselling using Zoom.

WHAT IS THE FEE? Our counselling services are free.
